Sweetgreen’s Sweetpress “Purify” Juice Gets a Larger Size (Green Juice)

Sweetgreen of Washington DC is now serving up a 16oz size for its “Purify” organic pressed juice. The larger sized green juice contains the same recipe of apple, kale, spinach, cucumber, lemon and ginger as the 12oz bottle did.

Sweetpress juices are organic, raw, cold-pressed, unpasteurized, and made daily. To guarantee you get the highest quality juice, ask if they have one that was made today (sometimes it’s in another fridge – not the display case, because the fresh juices have a three day shelf-life).

This green juice is delicious. It tastes good because of the apple juice and yet you can still feel that it is packed full of lots of greens and very nutrient-dense.

Total cost for the 16 ounce juice? $10.45 (with DC tax). That’s competitive with nyc raw juice prices with the likes of Juice Press and Organic Avenue.

To Note: The 16oz size is (about 1 cent per ounce) more expensive than the 12oz juice ($7). That can add up – depending on how much you drink. Normally, a larger size juice is less expensive than a smaller size. Interesting. No discounts here. You might want to consider purchasing multiple smaller bottles if you want to drink more than the single 16oz serving size of green juice.
