How To Eat #Vegan On A Budget (Organic, Plant-Based, Gluten-Free, Soy-Free, Raw Living Foods)

I went out to the store this evening and came back home with quite the haul.

I was able to find lots of high-quality, nutrient-dense, vegan foods. All for a total of about $70. This will last me probably 4 days… so at less than $20/day this is pretty high quality stuff. Check out the video to see some of the products I bought (including NuttZo ButterMary’s Gone Crackers Jalapeno, Raw (Superfood) Trail Mix, and Go Raw Granola Bars):

Olive oil added at the end, after all the heat is off, so as not to deteriorate the quality of the oil.

Good Morning Green Smoothie

This is what you drink after returning from hot yoga after getting up at 6 am to do so.

(This could also be called “Green Smoothie #2”, because “Green Smoothie #1” is what I had BEFORE going to hot yoga. It simply included baby spinach, almond milk, and a banana.)

Good Morning Green Smoothie:

Blend organic flax seeds and organic hemp seeds with water. Use unstrained seedmilk as base for smoothie.
Add organic baby spinach, organic kale, organic parsley, fresh organic turmeric root.
Add frozen organic mango.

Have a great day!

(I had ginger Kombucha before biking home from yoga… and now this smoothie. Health deluxe. The quote on my Kombucha, which I impart to you now was this:

In the meantime, make salad dressing: miso (I used garlic and red pepper miso), vinegar (I used red wine vinegar) and olive oil.

Toss greens with dressing.
